Hookah WIP 02

Just showing off the slow progress I've been doing with this painting.  I just started to work on it again recently, so it's not quite dead yet. Learning a lot about this medium.

winter slippers

i can never seem to find slippers that are warm enough to keep the circulation kickin in my feet, that are also comfy, and have durable soles. so i made my own.

soles are made from leather. theyre stuffed with batting and have soft, short faux fur all over the inside. perfectly warm, and pretty fun to make.

Christmas 2012

Christmas has been made increasingly more important in my life the past few years. To me it's all about family and togetherness, and living all the way across the country from mine is hard. This year I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit my parents in Maryland, though my brothers were not so lucky. I wanted to let them know I was thinking about them, so I watercolored these cards and shipped them their way.

Finished up this lighting/ foliage study this weekend. Feels good to knock this one off my plate.

Quackers

Trying to finish a few of the better older projects I had laying around. This one was started about 2 years ago. My old neighbor in Austin had moved and left this behind. It had been sitting outside most of its life, so I decided to paint over its lil' stained body.

Halloween
